Bruce
Stewart, M.D., F.A.C.S.
W. Bruce Stewart, M.D. has been with the practice since
1978. Dr. Stewart received his undergraduate degree from
Colgate University and his medical degree from The University
of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. He completed a
surgery residency at the Naval Regional Medical Center in
Philadelphia. Dr. Stewart also completed a Fellowship in
colon and rectal surgery at The Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation
in New Orleans. Dr. Stewart is board-certified by The American
Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He sees patients at our
three office locations.
Crawford
C. Smith, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Crawford C. Smith, M.D. has been with the practice since
1981. Dr. Smith received his undergraduate degree from Amherst
College and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College.
He completed a general surgery residency at Tulane University
in New Orleans, followed by a Colon and Rectal Fellowship
at The Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans.
Dr. Smith is board-certified by The American Board of Colon
and Rectal Surgery. He sees patients at our Stony Point
office.
Jon
S. Palmintier, M.D., F.A.C.S., Retired
Jon "Skip" Palmintier, M.D. has been with the
practice since 1984. Dr. Palmintier received his undergraduate
degree from University of Southwestern Louisiana and his
medical degree from Louisiana State University. He completed
an internship and residency at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center
in Denver, followed by a Colon and Rectal Fellowship at
The Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans. Dr.
Palmintier is board-certified by The American Board of Colon
and Rectal Surgery. He sees patients at our Henrico Doctors'
and Stony Point offices.
Sean
C. O'Donovan, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Sean C. O’Donovan, M.D. has been with the practice since
1993. Dr. O’Donovan received his undergraduate degree from
Tulane University and his medical degree from Louisiana
State University. He completed a general surgery residency
at The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond followed
by a Colon and Rectal Fellowship at Orlando Regional Health
System in Orlando. Dr. O’Donovan is board-certified by The
American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He sees patients
at our Henrico Doctors' and Stony Point offices.
Bill
Timmerman, M.D., F.A.C.S.
William R. Timmerman, M.D. has been with the practice since
1997. Dr. Timmerman received his undergraduate degree from
the South Dakota State University and his medical degree
from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. He
completed a general surgery residency at Hennepin County
Medical Center, followed by a Colon and Rectal Fellowship
at Presbyterian / Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Timmerman
is board-certified by The American Board of Colon and Rectal
Surgery. He sees patients at our Hanover and Henrico Doctors'
offices.
Cary
L. Gentry, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Cary L. Gentry, M.D. has been with the practice since July
2001. Dr. Gentry received his undergraduate degree from
Roanoke College and his medical degree from The Medical
College of Virginia. He completed a general surgery internship
/ residency at Carilion Health System followed by a Colon
Rectal Fellowship at Orlando Regional Health System in Orlando.
Dr. Gentry is board certified by the American Board of Surgery
and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is
a fellow of The American College of Surgeons and The American
Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Dr Gentry specializes
in the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, laparoscopic
surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of fecal incontinence.
He sees patients at our Hanover and Stony Point offices.
Paul
D. Charron, M.D.
Dr. Charron has been with the practice since August 2008.
Dr. Charron received his undergraduate degree from James
Madison University and his medical degree from Northeastern
Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He completed his
general surgery residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center
followed by a Colon and Rectal fellowship at the Northwest
Colon and Rectal Clinic in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Charron
is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He
is a member of the American Medical Association and the
American College of Surgeons. Dr. Charron specializes in
the diseases of the colon and rectum. He sees patients at
our Henrico Doctors' and Stony Point offices.
Andrew
J. Vorenberg, M.D.
Dr. Vorenberg has been with the practice since August 2009.
After attaining his undergraduate degree from the University
of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Dr. Vorenberg received
his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville,
Virginia. He completed surgical internship at the Stamford
Hospital/Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons
Program, general surgery residency at the University of
Virginia, and fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at
the Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida. He specializes
in laparoscopic colon and rectal surgery, treatment of colon
and rectal cancer, and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.
He sees patients at our Hanover, Stony Point, and St. Mary's
Hospital offices.
