Richmond magazine recently announced the winners of their annual Top Docs awards. This year four of surgeons from CRS were named in the Colon and Rectal Surgeon category.

Every year thousands of area physicians are asked to nominate their peers in dozens of categories for the Richmond Magazine Top Docs awards. Results are then compiled for annual Top Docs issue – now a Richmond tradition. This year over 85 categories were voted on and the 2015 Top Docs winners have been announced.
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness month and a very busy time at CRS.
Our providers continue to spend time in the Richmond community raising awareness and educating the public on colon cancer prevention and treatment. And two CRS providers, Dr. Stewart and Dr. Timmerman, were listed as Best Doctors in Colon & Rectal Surgery in Central Virginia by Virginia Living magazine.
