Kathryn Chuquin, MD

Dr. Chuquin joined Colon & Rectal Specialists in September 2022. She specializes in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery including laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She also has a special interest in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, colon and rectal cancer, and anorectal disorders. Dr. Chuquin sees patients at our Hanover and West End locations.

Education
Dr. Chuquin received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and her medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and went on to complete her training with a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.
