Last week, I traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada for the 2011 Rock and Roll Half Marathon. 44,000 runners participated in the race including 5,000 marathon runners and 39,000 half marathoners. Team Challenge made up of 1226 runners dedicated to raising awareness of and donations for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) accumulated 4.5 million dollars for the charity to help over 1.5 million people living with inflammatory bowel disease.
