Andrew J. Vorenberg, MD, FACS
Dr. Vorenberg has been with the practice since August 2009. He specializes in the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, laparoscopic colon surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of intestinal and anorectal disorders. He sees patients at our North Side and Stony Point offices.

Laparoscopic Colon and Rectal Surgery; Treatment of Colon and Rectal Cancer; Transanal Minimally Invasive Surgery; Surgical Treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Diverticular Disease, and Anorectal Disorders; Screening Colonoscopy, da Vinci Surgery, Robotic Surgery.
Education
Dr. Vorenberg received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from the University of Virginia. He completed his general surgery residency at Stamford Hospital and University of Virginia, followed by a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida.
Certifications
Board certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery as well as General Surgery.
Memberships
Dr. Vorenberg is an Associate Fellow with the American College of Surgeons, and a member with the Chesapeake Colorectal Society.
Honors & Awards
Dr. Vorenberg’s honors include Co-chair, Robotics Division of Surgery at Bon Secours Richmond.
